Computer Technology is a self-study computer literacy course which fulfills the semester credit Information Technology requirement for graduation from a Utah high school. In addition, this course is a pre-requisite for more advanced courses in multimedia, computer programming, computer repair, and networking.

Each unit in this course contains an emphasis on terminology, ethics, SCANS (workplace skills), and career opportunities. Units one through eight contain standards and objectives from the Utah Information Technology Core Curriculum and the National Standards
