Reading Comments

I return assignments to you in Word. My comments and feedback are written using Word's COMMENTS feature.

If you have Word 97 or Word 2000, you should see yellow highlighting on your paper. If you do not see the yellow highlighting, use TOOLS>OPTIONS>VIEW tab and check the box for "Screen Tips" (AND for Word 97, check the box for "Hidden Text"). To read the comments, hover your mouse (do not click) over the yellow highlighting and my comments will appear in a pop-up window. Be sure to view your paper in Print Layout view.
 

If you have Word 2002/XP, Word 2003, or Word 2007, you should see the comments in small text boxes in the right-hand column. If you do not see the comment boxes, use VIEW>MARKUP to turn on comment viewing. Be sure to view your paper in Print Layout view.
